12 Hells Angels arrested

Stockholm - Swedish police have arrested 12 people with connections to
the biker gang Hells Angels as part of a large crackdown on organised
crime.
Police spokesperson Jan Strannegard said they were
arrested late on Wednesday after a police raid at a Hells Angel's
clubhouse in Goteborg, southwest Sweden.
He said on Thursday they
are suspected of several crimes, including robbery, assault and
breaking weapons laws.
Another nine people have been taken in for
questioning by police in connection to the raid, which had been
prepared over a long time as part of a nationwide crackdown on organised
crime.
Last year the Swedish leader of the Bandidos motorcycle
club was sentenced to nine years in prison for orchestrating grenade
attacks against two men, also in Goteborg.
